This Privacy Policy explains how Ikalula LLC ("Ikalula," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit ikalula.com, place an order, contact us, or sign up for our text messages. If you have questions, email us at hello@ikalula.com.

• Contact details: your name, email address, and mobile phone number.
• Order and shipping information: items purchased, order history, billing and shipping addresses, and delivery details.
• Payment information: payments are processed by our e-commerce platform (Shopify) and its payment processors. We do not store full card numbers.
• Text-messaging information: your mobile number, the date, time, and method of your opt-in, and your messages to us (for example, replies such as STOP or HELP).
• Support communications: messages you send us by email, text, or contact form.
• Device and usage information: basic information collected automatically when you browse our site, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and cookies.

2. How we use your information

• To process, fulfill, and ship your orders, and to handle returns and refunds.
• To send order confirmations, shipping and delivery updates, and replies to your support requests by email and, if you opt in, by text message.
• To answer your questions and provide customer support.
• To operate, secure, and improve our website, and to prevent fraud.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Text messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to "Ikalula order and support texts," we will send you text messages about your orders (confirmations, shipping and delivery updates) and replies to your support requests. We do not send marketing texts through this program.

• Message frequency varies, up to 8 messages per month.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• To opt out, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation text and no further messages unless you opt in again.
• For help, reply HELP to any message or email hello@ikalula.com.
• Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or text-messaging opt-in data and consent with any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes. The exclusion above applies to all text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information is not shared with any third parties. We share your mobile number only with the service providers that deliver our text messages on our behalf (such as our messaging provider and wireless carriers), and only to send the messages you asked for.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run our business:

• Service providers who help us operate, such as our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment processors, shipping carriers, email providers, and our text-messaging provider. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Legal reasons: when required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ikalula, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers: if Ikalula is involved in a merger, sale, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy. Mobile numbers and text-messaging opt-in data will remain subject to the restrictions in Section 3.

5. Cookies

Our website and Shopify use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working (for example, your cart), remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to fulfill orders, provide support, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Records of text-message consent and opt-outs are kept as long as needed to honor your choices and comply with law. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and we rely on trusted providers with industry-standard security. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights and choices

• Access, correction, and deletion: you may ask us for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal exceptions.
• Text messages: reply STOP at any time to stop texts.
• Email: you can unsubscribe from any non-transactional email using the link in the email.
• State privacy rights: depending on where you live (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states), you may have additional rights, such as the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9. Children's privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
